Ibstock's 2022 Sustainability Report
At Ibstock, we take immense pride in our commitment to environmental and social responsibility and are delighted to publish our latest sustainability report, covering the 2022 period. The report is testament to our focus on Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) principles and commitments outlined in our ESG 2030 Strategy, formally published in March 2022.
Our ESG 2030 Strategy: WE WILL pave the way for a better tomorrow
Our ESG 2030 Strategy sets out our ambitious goals that drive our focused actions as a responsible business. It serves as our guiding light as we navigate the path to actively address climate change, improve lives and manufacture materials for life.
Through our latest 2022 sustainability report, we aim to highlight our progress in achieving our ESG 2030 ambitions so far, as well as highlighting our learnings as we recognise the environmental landscape, regulation and solutions continue to evolve at pace.

Far from seeing sustainability as a threat, we see this as an opportunity for our business.
A net zero future: WE WILL continue our journey to net zero
As part of the 2022 report, we have taken the opportunity to update our high-level carbon reduction roadmap, which outlines our key commitments and actions to reduce carbon emissions and be a net zero operations by 2040, covering scope 1 and 2 emissions. Additionally, the roadmap includes our initial approach to net zero for scope 3 emissions, before 2050.
