Last month, Simon Ingram, Planning & Estates Manager at Ibstock was delighted to attend a special afternoon tea celebrating 50 years of North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) and its lasting partnership with local businesses and residents. The event was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the District’s rich heritage, vibrant community, and the important role local businesses play in shaping the area.
Ibstock's heritage featured in commemorative video
As part of the celebrations, Ibstock was honoured to be included in a special anniversary video, showcasing the diverse history of businesses and people who have contributed to the District’s growth. Our story, which reflects our proud heritage in North West Leicestershire, can be viewed at 2 minutes and 18 seconds in the film.
During the event, awards were presented to individuals and organisations who have made a significant impact on the District’s heritage and development. The photo from the celebration captures all the contributors to the film, with the Chair of the District Council proudly standing at the centre.
Continuing our journey with North West Leicestershire
At Ibstock, we are proud of our deep roots in North West Leicestershire. As a company, we remain committed to supporting our local community, preserving our heritage, and contributing to the future success of the District for generations to come.
